According to IGN, Activision announced there new dlc pack Uprising, which will be hitting Xbox Live on April 16 for 1200 Microsoft Points.
Uprising will include four new multiplayer maps called Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio and a new zombies story mode called Mob of the Dead.
Mob of the Dead will feature iconic mobsters from Hollywood including Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pantoliano.
The Story of the Mob of the Dead will revolve around prohibition era mobster’s who try to escape Alcatraz prison but are quickly interrupted by the undead.
Treyarch unveiled a new feature in the Mob of the Dead called “Purgatory”, which will send players to the afterlife after they die from the zombies.
No date as of yet has been confirmed on when Uprising will be hitting other platforms.
Naughty Dog has done great things with its uncharted series, captivating us with the amazing detail to graphics and cinematic storytelling in the same league with some major motions pictures today. However, Naughty Dog’s next game, Last of Us, looks like nothing they have ever done before in the past.
Last of Us has a totally different vibe from the Uncharted games, it has more of a dark, serious, and hopeless tone to it.
The story of the game revolves around two survivors, Joel and Ellie, who travel a post-apocalyptic America two decades after a deadly outbreak of a fungus that killed millions of people.
Players will get to control Joel as he tries to take Ellie to resistance group know as the Fireflies from the harsh regime of. They will face many difficulties traveling the US avoiding some of the infect and humanoid creatures.
Naughty Dog introduced a new feature call “Dynamic Stealth”, which will give more varieties and ways off approaching combat situations.
The “Balance of Power” feature will make enemy AI act more realisticaly by calling for help or taking cover as soon as the player is discovered.
Last of Us will also feature crafting system, where players will be able to craft items from objects found in the world from different recipes they acquire.
There where will be a multiplayer mode included with the Last of Us, not much has been said other than it will be separate experience from the single player campaign.
People who pre-order the game will get the Sight and Sounds pack, which will include the official soundtrack, a ps3 dynamic theme cover art, and two avatars.
People who pre-order the game at Gamestop will get the Sights and Sounds pack and the Survival pack which will include bonus multiplayer xp, a multiplayer melee attack booster, extra in-game cash, special customizable character items for multiplayer, and two skins for Joel and Ellie.
Last of Us is set to be released June 14, 2013 as a PS3 exclusive.
From the makers of Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers, Behemoth has finally given a release date for there next project BattleBlock Theater. BattleBlock Theater will be released on April 3 ,2013 on the Xbox Live Arcade.
The story behind BattleBlock Theater is simple, Hatty Hattington and his nameless friend are on a ship and out of nowhere a violent storm comes and maroon’s them on a island where they find this mysterious theater.
Behemoth first announced BattleBlock Theater back on 2009. BattleBlock Theater is co-op platformer that holds 1-4 players for local play and 1-4 players online.
BattleBlock Theater will combine some of the same elements that made Alien Hominid and Castle Crasher so great. BattleBlock Theater will feature nine arena game modes.
It will also feature a level editor where players can share there levels to other player as well as download other levels from other players.
