Why I think that Journey is the best game I ever played

Journey is one the best games of this generation, not only that but it is one the best games I have ever played.

It is portrait of beauty, the graphics are on another level that no other games can achieve. Everything from the grains of sands, to the eerie darkness of the tunnels, the blanket of snow that covers the mountain, this game truly is pure art in it self.

However Journey isn’t all about the graphics, yet it does play a big part in the allure of the whole game.

It is more of an experience rather than a story, you take control of a nameless voiceless traveler whose only destination is a far-off distant mountain over the horizon. Just like in real life, Journey portrays strong emotions that vary from wonder,  to sadness, and joy.

The core game play of Journey is simple that any person can pick it up. This game is a rare gem, it doesn’t follow the structure of how many games are being made in this generation.

It is game that doesn’t focusing on killing, nor does it focus on points or high scores. Online features are completely different from what other games offer, my first time interacting with another player really made feel a different connection from other games.

When traveling with your fellow companion a lot emotions arise, from the sense of fear when your companion nearly dies, a sense of complete relief when your companion is right next you.

What is so fascinating about the game is that you never kill anyone or pick up a single gun. Journey achieves what other games can’t do, and that is to bring an emotional journey, full of beauty and wonder.
